Base Model: Flip Key

2010-2012

A traditional 3-button flip key with a standard blade and Honda immobilizer chip. You turn this key in the ignition like any other key, but the immobilizer chip inside has to match your car's computer or the engine will not start. Programming is done on-board through the OBD-II port, which means we handle it right in your driveway.

Technology Package: Smart Key

2010-2013

A 4-button smart proximity fob (FCC ID M3N5WY8145) with a CR2032 battery and a hidden emergency blade inside. Your ZDX detects the fob in your pocket, unlocks when you grab the handle, and starts with a push of the button. The Honda immobilizer system still requires professional on-board programming, so no DIY shortcuts here.

Advanced Package: Smart Key
