Out in Nyeland Acres, I got a call from a woman who had been dealing with a key-not-detected warning on her 2011 ZDX for about two weeks. She had already gone to the Acura dealer in the area. They told her the fob needed to be replaced and quoted her a wait on the part, plus a return visit for programming. She did not need a new fob. She did not need a dealer appointment, a parts order, or a second visit. She needed a fresh CR2032 and someone willing to check the whole system before recommending a replacement. The dealer comparison never even came up. She just asked me why nobody had told her to try that first.
