First, try holding the fob with the Lexus emblem facing the Start button and pressing it while your foot is on the brake. The immobilizer RFID chip inside the fob can be read passively without any battery power. If that does not work, locate the hidden mechanical blade inside the fob by sliding open the release cover on the side, extract the blade, and use it to unlock the driver's door manually. Then try the fob-to-start-button method again from inside. If the engine still does not start, there may be a receiver module issue rather than a dead battery.
