Some Jaguar E-Pace key fobs drain batteries faster than expected due to constant proximity signal broadcasting. If you are replacing the battery more than once a year, try storing the fob away from electronics and metal objects when not in use.

Key Not Detected After Battery Swap

On certain Jaguar E-Pace model years, replacing the fob battery can occasionally desync the key from the vehicle. If the car shows "Key Not Detected" after a battery change, try locking and unlocking the doors with the physical key blade, then attempt to start. If it persists, reprogramming is needed.

Can You Program a E-Pace Key Yourself?

Jaguar E-Pace: On-board key learning available. With a working key, cycle the ignition ON-OFF 3 times within 10 seconds, ending in ON. The security light will flash. Within 30 seconds, press any button on the new fob. Locks will cycle to confirm.
