1st Generation (RU) Smart Key
1st-gen 2019-2022 facelift kept the same ID47 architecture across the lineup. Smart proximity standardized on more trims. This is the build range named in the Rolling Pwn advisory.
2nd Generation (FL)
2nd-gen 2023-2025 Civic-platform redesign. Smart proximity is standard across every trim with a hardened rolling-code stack. Server-side checks are tighter than 1st-gen, which is felt most on all-keys-lost jobs.
