RG3 Platform Launch (2021-2023)
Clean-sheet redesign on Hyundai-Kia N3 architecture. New smart-key form factor with the Genesis script across the front. Gateway module went behind the dash, FCC IDs updated, server auth tightened. Digital Key launched on US-market RG3 cars from launch.
RG3 Refresh (2024)
Mid-cycle bump brought Digital Key 2 Touch with NFC support and a refreshed smart-fob design. Same RG3 core, tighter immobilizer trust chain after the 2024 OTA push. Add-a-key still on-the-truck for us. All-keys-lost may need a server-access window.
