A generic key shop won’t have the right blank or the right machine. We carry OEM-spec blanks for over 40 brands and cut them on a portable Condor XC-Mini Plus with motorcycle-specific jaws. If your key code is stamped on the lock or ignition housing, we decode it directly. If not, we impression the lock or disassemble the wafer pack to read the combination by hand.

When you lose all keys, the immobilizer won’t let the engine fire even if the mechanical cut is perfect. We use the AutoProPad and Autel IM508 with motorcycle-specific adapters to read the immobilizer module via OBD or direct EEPROM access, then write a new transponder token to a fresh key.

Most dealerships in Ventura County quote a two-week wait and $400 or more for a single transponder motorcycle key. Meanwhile your Ducati is stuck in a parking structure at the Oaks Mall or your BMW R1250GS is dead in the driveway in Moorpark. We diagnose whether the issue is mechanical (worn wafers, broken springs, corroded housing) or electrical (faulty switch contacts, melted connector). For mechanical failures, we disassemble the cylinder, replace individual wafers with OEM-spec parts, and rekey the lock to match your existing key. No shop visit needed.

Harley-Davidson saddlebags use a barrel-style lock that responds well to tubular picks. Japanese cruiser saddlebags typically use a small wafer lock. BMW panniers use a rotating disc lock that needs a specialized tension tool. We never drill, pry, or force a motorcycle lock because the damage to chrome, paint, or leather is irreversible and expensive.

Riders get locked out in the worst spots. The gravel lot at Rincon Beach, a packed parking area at the Ventura Pier, the narrow streets of downtown Oxnard. We arrive, work quickly and cleanly, and leave no marks. If the lock is so worn that it caused the lockout, we rekey or replace it on the same visit.

Post-2012 models introduced a proximity fob on select Touring and CVO bikes. We program replacement security fobs using direct communication with the TSM (Turn Signal Module) or the HFSM (Hands-Free Security Module) depending on model year. Mechanical key cutting requires Y-series blanks cut on a specific jaw clamp, which we carry.
