She was at the rental car return lot in Calle Real corridor, Goleta early in the morning, about to switch from a rental back to her own 2008 Audi R8, and her only Audi key was not in her bag. Her remote flip key with FCC ID IYZ3314 was a 3-button flip key that I cut on my machine, programmed, and tested on-site. Lock, unlock, trunk, engine start.
She returned the rental, started her own car, and drove to the airport with time to spare. Total was 278. The dealer wanted 512 and a next-week appointment. She would have missed her flight, paid rental extension fees, and still been without a key.
