A kindergarten teacher near Rancho Simi Park in Simi Valley called me on a Thursday. She had a 2025 Acura Integra with push-to-start, and her only fob had cracked at the seam. Walked the proximity range around all four doors and the hatch to make sure the 920 MHz signal was clean.
I told her to keep the cracked fob as a shell donor. If the case ever gets scuffed or cracked again, the board and battery swap right over.
