2020 Jaguar F-Type Smart key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A commercial pilot on a layover at the harbor brunch restaurant in Ventura on a Sunday morning told me he'd already been burned. Another locksmith charged him full price for a 2020 Jaguar F-Type smart key that never programmed correctly. The car would crank but the immobilizer killed the engine after two seconds. I connected through OBD with my IM608, cleared the failed key data, read fresh KVM data, and generated the correct key file. His smart key, FCC ID KOBJTF10A, had all 5 buttons working plus clean push-to-start with no fuel cutoff. I showed him the confirmation on the IM608 screen so he could see the key was fully registered this time.
He paid me 406. Dealer charges 719 for the same work. He'd already paid the first locksmith too, which I couldn't undo. But I could make sure the job was done right.
