I decoded her door cylinder for the blade cut, laser-cut the HU101 on my machine, and programmed the fob through OBD. Her KVM accepted the KOBJTF10A on the first pass. I handed it to her and she tested lock, unlock, trunk, both panic buttons, then walked ten feet away and came back to try the passive entry on the door handle. Same button feel, same weight, same range.
She stood there turning it over in her hand, looking for some difference. No leaping cat logo on the back. That was it. She pocketed it and went back inside.
The dealer quoted her a wait of about two weeks for the part alone. She was done in under an hour.
