A college student at the community college lot in Oxnard had just bought a used 2013 Acura ZDX from a private seller. Good car, fair price, one key. The seller told him a spare would be cheap. He called the Acura dealer and they wanted 545. He'd just spent most of his savings on the car itself.

He drove away with two working keys for 293. That second key also means if he ever loses one, the next replacement is cheaper because it's an add-a-key instead of all-keys-lost. The dealer wanted 545 for one spare. He got the same thing for less and never missed a class.
