I lost all my Mercedes-Benz keys. Can you still make a new one?

Not for most Mercedes models we service. A mobile locksmith with the right tools and credentials can handle all-keys-lost right where the vehicle sits. One E-Class owner was facing a couple of weeks wait and $600 at the dealer. A Sprinter owner had one dealer refuse to help and another quote $1,200 through a third party. Towing a Mercedes to the dealer adds $150 to $250 on top of whatever they charge for the key. We come to you. You will not need to worry about battery life on your new key for a long time. We also recommend keeping a spare battery at home once you have your key, since a dead fob on a Mercedes keyless go system will trigger a "key not detected" warning and can leave you unable to start the car even though everything else is fine.

Can you make a spare at the same time so I have two keys?

Programming a second key while we are already connected to the EIS costs less than calling us back for a separate visit later because the security access and bench work are only performed once. If you just went through all-keys-lost on your Mercedes, the last thing you want is to be in that situation again. The dealer charges $600 to $1,500 per key.
