2020 Acura RLX Smart key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

A college student at the community college lot in Fillmore had just bought a used 2020 Acura RLX from a private seller. Good car, fair price, one key. The seller told him a spare would be cheap. He called the Acura dealer and they wanted 524. He'd just spent most of his savings on the car itself.

His fob's FCC ID was KR580399900, and I matched the blade cut from a decode of his door lock. I walked him through the difference between add-a-key and all-keys-lost so he'd know what he was saving himself down the road.

He drove away with two working keys for 278. That second key also means if he ever loses one, the next replacement is cheaper because it's an add-a-key instead of all-keys-lost. The dealer wanted 524 for one spare. He got the same thing for less and never missed a class.
