No key at all? On Buick, all-keys-lost is more involved than add-a-key because the BCM or theft-deterrent module has to be accessed at a deeper level. On older PK3 models, that means a 30-minute security relearn with three 10-minute cycles. On newer smart key Buicks, the tool handles a 10 to 12 minute security countdown through OBD. Either way, it's absolutely doable and I do it mobile.

I used my B111 Lishi to decode the door lock and cut a new PK3 transponder key. Then I ran the 30-minute theft relearn, three 10-minute security cycles where the security light comes on and goes out each round while the BCM learns the new chip. His remote, FCC ID KOBUT1BT, was cut, programmed, and tested at the parking lot.
His car started in the same spot. Total was around 95. A dealer wanted 200 plus a tow and no guarantee they could do the job same-day.
