I showed the shop team what went wrong so they'd know to warn customers about battery voltage if it ever came up again.
Total job time was about an hour and a half, which is longer than normal. His bill was 105. The alternative was a flatbed to the dealer, a multi-day wait, and 221 or more. I carry backup tools and backup power specifically for when the first approach hits a wall.
