I showed the muffler shop team what went wrong so they'd know to warn customers about battery voltage if it ever came up again.
Total job time was about an hour and a half, which is longer than normal. His bill was 185. The alternative was a flatbed to the dealer, a multi-day wait, and 395 or more. I carry backup tools and backup power specifically for situations where the first approach hits a wall. The job still got done same-day, on-site.
