2012 Honda CR-Z Remote Head Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
Out in Hillsides, Ventura, a CR-Z owner called me from a pharmacy parking lot. He was diabetic, his insulin was at home, and the car wasn't going anywhere. The remote head key had gone completely dark. No lock, no unlock, nothing. He'd tried the dealer already. Next available appointment was the following day.

Engine started clean.
Then I walked him through the mechanical override so he'd know what to do if the fob ever died on him in a parking lot again. That part took maybe three minutes and he actually wrote it down.
From his phone call to the engine running was right around forty minutes. The dealer had quoted him a next-day appointment and a number that made him wince. He made it to the pharmacy. Sometimes this job is just getting someone where they need to go before it turns into something worse.
