His smart key, FCC ID KR5V1X, started the car on the first try. I cut him a spare too so he wouldn't be in this situation again.
The whole job took about 45 minutes and came out to around 244. Dealer would have been roughly 438 plus a tow plus waiting until Monday. He drove home from that same lot with two working keys.
