Over on Dictionary Hill in Spring Valley, a guy called me about his 2010 H3. He'd had both keys on one ring, and the whole ring walked out of his life at a gas station the night before. No spare at home, no backup, nothing.

It takes a few minutes and you can't rush it. I programmed two keys while I was there, verified both started the truck, and checked that neither of the old lost keys would do anything if someone found them.
He mentioned he'd called the dealer that morning. They told him to tow it in and plan on waiting a couple of days. He went a different direction. Smart call.
