2023 Kia Seltos Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A young couple over in Libby Lake had just bought a used 2023 Kia Seltos from a private seller. Good car, reasonable price, one key. The seller made it sound like getting a spare was nothing. They called the Kia dealer and heard a number that stopped them cold. They had just stretched every dollar on the down payment and first insurance premium.
They found me through a search and asked if the dealer quote was real. I told them it was in the right ballpark for dealer pricing. But the same fob, same cut, same programming runs for a fraction of that through me, because I don't carry a service department, a waiting room, or a parts department markup.
I met them at the address before they even drove it home from the seller's place. I pulled the VIN, confirmed the key specs, cut the blade, and used my diagnostic equipment to register the new smart fob to the vehicle's immobilizer. Tested every button, tested the start, walked the door handles. Everything worked.
They got two keys instead of one for less than they feared, and they drove home that afternoon. The spare also means if they ever lose one down the road, the next job is an add-a-key rather than an all-keys-lost reset, which is a simpler and faster process.
The dealer comparison came up exactly once, at the end, when she said "I really thought this was going to ruin our week." It didn't.
