Push-to-start all-keys-lost is the job that worries most Jeep owners the most. No visible key slot on the dash, no way to "just turn the ignition." The vehicle needs to wirelessly detect a fob programmed to its specific wireless control module before it will power on. If that fob is gone, the Jeep feels completely dead, but it isn't.

A band roadie at the concert venue lot outside Camarillo had a 2015 Jeep Patriot with push-to-start and zero keys. He was breaking down after a show and couldn't find his fob anywhere. Two crew members told him smart key all-keys-lost was dealer-only.

I drove to the venue lot. Push-to-start AKL is more involved than a standard Fobik job because the wireless control module needs to be fully accessed and old key data wiped before new fobs can learn. I used my ACDP to pull the immobilizer data as a safety backup, then ran the AKL sequence with my IM608 through OBD. His smart key, FCC ID OHT692427AA, was a 4-button proximity fob.

His Jeep started in the venue lot while the crew loaded the truck next to us. Total was around 185. Dealer would have been 395 plus a tow. Smart key AKL isn't dealer-only. It's tool-dependent. He was pretty amazed it could all happen right there.
