2020 Acura TLX Smart key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

My van has everything I need to replace a 2020 Acura TLX key without a shop. I carry blanks for every Acura generation from the mid-2000s remote heads through the latest proximity smart fobs. Transponder chips, CR2032 batteries, aftermarket housings, emergency blades, and a key cutting machine bolted to the floor. The van is the shop. It just has wheels.

A condo board president in Oxnard called me because a tow truck couldn't fit into the underground parking garage at her building. Low ceiling, tight turns, no flatbed access. Her TLX was parked on the lowest level and the dealer told her she'd have to figure out how to get the car out first. She couldn't get it out because she had no working key. It was a catch-22.

I parked on the street and walked down with my tools. I used my VVDI2 to clone the transponder data from her remaining working key onto a fresh blank, then cut the blade to match her lock. Her fob, FCC ID KR5995364, was a 5-button smart key that I built and tested right there in the garage.

Her car never moved. Total was around 306 compared to 563 at the dealer, and that dealer price assumed the car could somehow get there. I walked in with a bag, walked out 35 minutes later, and she drove out on her own.
