A temple volunteer at the parking lot near Lost Canyons Golf Club on a Saturday told me she'd already been burned once. Another locksmith had charged her full price for a 2006 Honda Element key that never programmed correctly. The car would crank but the immobilizer killed the fuel injection after two seconds. Her fob, FCC ID , had all buttons working plus a clean start with no two-second fuel cutoff. I showed her the confirmation on my IM608 screen so she could see the key was fully learned this time.

She paid me 123. The dealer charges 293 for the same work. She'd already paid the first locksmith too, which I couldn't help with. But I could make sure the job was actually done right.
