He was leaving an upscale restaurant in Simi Valley after a client dinner and his jacket was gone from the coat check. Keys, wallet, phone, everything. He borrowed the hostess phone and called the police first, then his wife, then me.

His 2016 Infiniti QX50 was in the valet lot with zero keys. The dealer told his wife they could order a fob but 3 to 5 business days, plus a tow, plus rekeying since the stolen fob could still open the doors. Combined estimate was pushing $750.
