A Carmel Valley resident called me on a Tuesday afternoon. She was in the parking structure near her office and her Giulia was showing a key-not-detected warning on the cluster. The fob had been acting up for a few days, she said, but she figured it would sort itself out. It did not.

The dealer had quoted her several days out for an appointment, and she would have needed to tow the car since she was not confident driving it in that state. She got it handled in the parking structure, same afternoon, without moving the car at all.
