I met her at her driveway with replacement smart key shells and my HY14 Lishi for verifying the blade cut. Her fob, FCC ID CQOFD01480, had the typical wear I see on hundreds of Hyundai smart keys from this era. I moved the working electronics into a fresh shell, replaced the button pad, and cut a new blade.
She paid about $257. The dealer wanted $451 for a whole new fob when she only needed a shell swap and fresh buttons.
