A renter at his apartment complex near Rustic Canyon Golf Course called the dealer first. They quoted him 200 for a replacement metal key and told him to tow it in. So I parked at his building and used my B111 Lishi to decode his door lock and read each wafer position for an exact blade cut. His fob, FCC ID , was a -button flip key with an ID46 transponder chip inside. I cut the blade and programmed the chip through the OBD port in about 35 minutes.
His total was 95. That covers the key, the cut, the transponder programming, and me driving to his apartment. The dealer wanted 200 plus he would have needed a tow. Same key, same chip, same programming. Different price.
