He calmed down a lot once I told him I was on my way with everything I needed.
He drove home that night. His total was $185. The dealer would have charged $395 plus a tow, and they were closed anyway. The VIN is the single most useful piece of information you can give me. It tells me the key type, the immobilizer generation, the programming method, and what I need to bring.
