She was at the farm-to-table restaurant in Coronado when her purse was snatched from the back of her chair. Keys, wallet, phone. She borrowed the server's phone, called the police, then her partner called me.

She drove home that night with two working keys. Total was $185. The dealer estimated $395 plus a tow and nearly a week. The stolen fob is electronically dead now. Once the key memory is wiped, the old fob is just plastic.
