I got a call from a guy over in Libby Lake, near the park. He had a 2009 LR3 that had been sitting in his driveway for about two weeks while he drove a work truck. When he went back to it, his only key would not start the car. Fob buttons were dead, engine would crank but immediately cut out. Classic scenario.
He had already been to a parts store and swapped in a fresh CR2032, which did bring the remote functions back. But the car still cranked and died every time. He was convinced it was a fuel pump.

He said the dealer told him over the phone it would be a week before they could even look at it. He was back driving the same afternoon.
