1999 Pontiac Firebird
Key Replacement - Save vs Dealer in San Diego

1999 Pontiac Firebird Metal Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

A guy out in Bressi Ranch called me on a Saturday afternoon. He had driven his 1999 Firebird to run errands and somewhere between the store and home the key disappeared. Checked the lot, checked the car, checked his jacket twice. Gone.

His first call was to the dealer. They told him to have it towed in Monday morning. He said it again to make sure I heard it: Monday morning. For a mechanical key.

I was out there inside of an hour. The Firebird was sitting in his driveway in the sun, which is the best possible job site. I decoded the lock, cut a replacement blade to match, and handed it to him. He tried it in the door, tried it in the ignition, looked at me like I had done something suspicious.

He saved a good chunk compared to what the dealer had quoted him just to look at it, and he did not have to leave the car sitting on a street somewhere all weekend.

That is the job. Simple, done right, at his place.
