I went to the medical office that morning. His car uses a GM smart key with an HU100 emergency blade. I used my HU100 Lishi to decode the blade side and my IM608 for the BCM reprogram. His smart fob, FCC ID , was a -button key that I reprogrammed and tested while he sat inside the building.
He didn't have to leave the office or call his wife. Total was 95 for the reprogram and a spare. The dealer quoted 200 for one key plus a tow.
