2002 Chrysler Concorde Transponder Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A choir director at the church lot near Bressi Ranch on a Sunday told me she'd already been burned. Another locksmith had charged her full price for a 2002 Chrysler Concorde FOBIK that never programmed correctly. The car would crank but the immobilizer killed the fuel after two seconds. Classic failed SKIM learn. The other tech told her the car had a module problem and left.
The car didn't have a module problem. It had a locksmith problem. The previous tech hadn't completed the full security sequence. Chrysler's SKIM system requires the correct PIN code and a timed security exchange. I used my Y171 Lishi to verify the mechanical cut was at least correct, then connected through OBD with my IM608. I pulled the correct PIN from the SKIM module, cleared the failed key data, ran a clean learn with the full security cycle, and confirmed the new key was written permanently. Her fob, FCC ID , had all 3 buttons working plus a clean start with no two-second fuel cutoff. I showed her the confirmation on my IM608 screen so she could see it was fully learned this time.
She paid me $124. Dealer charges $296 for the same work. She'd already paid the first locksmith too, which I couldn't undo. But I could make sure the job was actually done right.
