My van has everything I need to replace a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country key without a shop. FOBIK blanks, smart key housings, Y171 and Y160 key blanks, emergency blades, CR2032 batteries, transponder chips for every Chrysler generation, and a key cutting machine bolted to the floor. The van is the shop. It just has wheels.

An HOA board member in a gated community in Vista called me because a tow truck couldn't easily get through the gate and navigate the narrow interior streets. His Town & Country was parked in front of his house inside the community and the FOBIK was dead. The dealer told him to figure out how to get the car to them. He couldn't because that was the whole problem.

I drove my van through after the guard let me in. I used my VVDI2 to clone his existing transponder data onto a fresh chip, then cut the blade to match his lock. His fob, FCC ID IYZ-C01C, was a 7-button smart key that I built and tested right there on his street.

His car never moved. Total was around $252 compared to $433 at the dealer, and that dealer price assumed the car could get there. I drove in, programmed the key, and drove out 40 minutes later.
