2016 Chrysler Town & Country Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

Her toddler was running a fever. It was 7:30am and the pediatrician had a cancellation at 8:15. Her 2016 Chrysler Town & Country FOBIK wouldn't turn in the ignition. She tried wiggling it, pulling it out and reinserting, nothing. The WIN module had locked up. She had a sick kid, one shot at an early appointment, and a car that wouldn't start.

I got the door open and plugged my IM608 into the OBD port. Her Smart Key uses the FOBIK system, FCC ID IYZ-C01C, with a 7-button layout. The old FOBIK's blade had worn down past the tolerance of the WIN module's internal contacts. I cut a fresh blade from the lock decode and transferred her working electronics into a new FOBIK housing.

From her phone call to her engine running was 38 minutes at $258. Dealer wanted $442 and a next-day appointment. She made the 8:15 with the toddler. Sometimes the difference between a locksmith and a dealer is just how fast you answer the phone.
