Out in Ramona Country Estates, a guy flagged me down via my YouTube channel. He said he watched one of my Ford fob replacement videos start to finish before he ever called, just to know what he was getting into. I programmed the replacement using my diagnostic equipment, added it to the vehicle so both keys were in memory, and tested every button along with a cold start sequence before I packed up. I also showed him where the backup fob slot is, because out here in Ramona Country Estates you do not want to be stuck in the driveway guessing.
He had called the dealer before me. They wanted him to drop the truck, leave it for two days, and come back. I was done in his driveway in under an hour, for a fraction of what they wanted.
