I got a call from a guy in La Mesa Village who had been storing his 2003 Lincoln LS at a facility near the Village. Classic car collector. He had a handful of vintage Lincolns and treated this one as his newest addition, which is a little funny given the car is over twenty years old now.
His one and only key had snapped at the bow, the plastic head, and someone had taped it together long enough to drive it into the storage bay. That was six months ago. The car had been sitting ever since.
