I'm already in Imperial Beach with Lincoln key blanks, transponder chips, and programming tools loaded in the van right now. I don't order parts when you call. HU101 laser blanks, older FO38 edge-cut blanks, aftermarket fob shells, CR2032 batteries, and emergency blades are all in labeled drawers behind my seat.
A couple at a steakhouse near Bayside Ib on a Saturday night came out to find their 2004 Lincoln LS wouldn't start. The fob was completely dead and neither of them knew about the backup start procedure where you hold the fob against the start button. They figured they'd leave it overnight and deal with it Monday.

The fob's proximity range came back immediately and push-to-start responded on the first press.
They drove home that Saturday night. Total was $185. Dealer would have been $395 plus a wait until Monday. When everything is stocked, a call at 9pm on a Saturday is the same as 9am on a Tuesday.
