A Shadowridge resident called me on a Tuesday morning. She had driven to the Vista Target on Shadowridge Drive the night before, and when she came out, the fob stopped unlocking the doors. She got in with the emergency metal key hidden inside the fob, but the push-button start would not fire. The dash showed a key-not-detected warning. Turned out to be a battery seating issue in a parking lot. I walked every button, checked the emergency blade, confirmed the vehicle security system was seeing the fob clean on my scanner before I packed up. Total time on site was under twenty minutes.
