Out near CSUSM Area in San Marcos, I got a call from someone who'd been sitting in a parking lot for about twenty minutes trying to figure out why his Vibe wouldn't start. The engine would crank, almost catch, then die. Classic immobilizer behavior, though he had no way of knowing that.
