I used my IM608 with CAN-FD adapter to access the BCM, wipe the stolen key data so it would no longer start the car, and program two new smart fobs from scratch. Her fob, FCC ID , was a -button key. I decoded the lock with my HU100 Lishi, cut the emergency blade, and had both fobs working before lunch.
She had two new keys and the stolen one was electronically dead to the car. Total was 95 for two keys. On Buick, running the AKL procedure clears all previously registered fobs from the BCM, so the stolen one can't start or unlock by proximity anymore.
