2013 Buick Enclave Transponder Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
Near Santa Barbara City College on a Saturday, a guy coaching a youth soccer league flagged me down in the community center lot. He was already frustrated. Another locksmith had charged him full price for a 2013 Buick Enclave transponder key that never programmed right. The car would crank, run for about two seconds, then die. The other tech told him his BCM was fried and left.
The BCM was fine. GM's PK3+ system has a timed security access window you have to complete through the BCM or the module rejects the key and stores a B2960 fault. The previous tech never got past that step.
I used my B111 Lishi to verify the mechanical cut against the factory sidebar depths. Connected through OBD-II with my IM608, pulled codes, and found the B2960 sitting right there. Cleared the faulted key entry, ran the proper BCM security access seed-key sequence, and completed a clean PK3+ transponder relearn. His key started the car, held idle, no fuel cutoff. I showed him the cleared code on my screen so he could see it himself.
He just stood there for a second, staring at the running engine like he was waiting for it to quit again.
The difference with these Enclaves is that the theft-deterrent system is particular about procedure. A tech who has never touched PK3+ will fail the relearn every time and blame the module.
