2008 Buick Lacrosse Transponder key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
My van has everything I need to replace a 2008 Buick Lacrosse key without a shop. I carry B111 and B106 blanks for the older GM Z-keyway models, HU100 blanks for the newer side-milled Buicks, PK3 transponder chips, smart proximity fobs, batteries, and all the programming equipment for the BCM and theft-deterrent module. Most shops have to order Buick blanks. I carry them.
A documentary filmmaker on a dead-end street near a canyon in Thousand Oaks called because his Lacrosse was parked in a spot no tow truck could reach. The street dead-ended at a hiking trail with no room for a flatbed. The closest dealer was miles away and told him to figure out the tow himself.
I parked at the end of the street and walked down with my tools. I used my IM608 to run the AKL security access through OBD and register a new smart fob. His key, FCC ID , was a -button fob that I built and tested on that dead-end street.
His car never moved until he drove it out. Total was about 95 compared to 200 at the dealer plus the tow he couldn't arrange anyway.
