Out in Lakeside Proper, a guy called me from a parking lot off El Monte Road. He had been at the golf course most of the morning and came back to find his only key missing. Not in his bag, not in the cart, not at the pro shop. Gone. His 2003 Buick Park Avenue was sitting there going nowhere.

You do not rush it. You let each cycle complete fully. Skip a step or pull the key too early and you start over.
By the time the last cycle finished, the security light cleared and the engine started clean. He was back on his way from the same lot he had been stuck in.
The dealer comparison came up at the end, almost as an aside. He had already been quoted a number that required a tow on top of it. He paid a fraction of that and did not move the car an inch.
