I got a call from someone just off the Encanto Border side of Lemon Grove, right where that neighborhood bleeds into the quieter residential stretch. She had a 2011 Kia Sedona and one working key left.

Her backup had gotten damaged at some point, chip cracked inside the head, and she had been running on a single key for months. Then that one got lost somewhere between a grocery run and home.
