A guy on the Spring Valley Border side of Lemon Grove called me on a Tuesday afternoon. He had one original key left for his 1999 Mazda Protege, and it was bent just enough that he was nervous about it snapping in the ignition. He wanted a spare cut before it became a real problem.

He tested it in the ignition and both door locks before I packed up. Everything turned clean. He kept the bent original as a backup, which I told him was fine as long as he kept it out of the ignition going forward.
The whole job was done in the time it took him to finish a phone call.
