2011 Nissan Cube Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A couple in Berry Park, Imperial Beach, had just bought a used 2011 Nissan Cube off an overflow lot. Clean little car, decent deal, one key. The lot shrugged and told them to sort out a spare themselves.
They figured it was a hardware store situation. Cut a copy, done. Then they started Googling and realized this thing has a fob with a transponder chip and needs professional programming. So they called the Nissan dealer.
The dealer quote stopped them cold. They weren't expecting that number on a ten-year-old Cube. A friend pointed them to EZ Car Keyz, and they reached out asking if the dealer price was actually real. I told them it was real, and that I'd do the same job for a fraction of what they were quoted.
I drove out to Berry Park and met them at the car. One working smart key, one owner, one goal: get them a fully functional spare before anything went sideways.
I matched the blank to their vehicle, cut the replacement blade to the car, and used my programmer to enroll the new key's transponder chip alongside the original. Both keys tested clean: remote functions, door handles, engine start. The whole job was done on site before they'd finished their coffee.
They didn't need a dealer appointment. They didn't need a tow. They just needed someone to show up with the right tools.
