Second, if this is a work truck with any kind of upfit, bed-mounted toolbox, or utility body added after the fact, the metal can block or degrade the signal path to the fob antennas in the cab. That's not a fob problem. That's geometry.

Third, if the battery is good and there's no shielding issue, the antenna circuit or the receiver module can degrade over time. That's a diagnosis job, not a swap-and-go, but it's something I can check on site.

I bought a replacement fob online for my 2022 Ram 3500. Can I program it myself or do I need someone with a tool?
