A customer at the community center near Simi Valley Hospital told me he'd already paid another locksmith full price for a 2019 Chevrolet Spark key that never worked right. I used my B111 Lishi to verify the blade cut was correct, then connected through OBD with my IM608. I cleared the failed key data, ran a clean learn with the full 10-minute timer, and confirmed the new key was written permanently. His transponder key, FCC ID HYQ4AA, had the standard B111 blade and ID46 chip. I showed him the confirmation screen on my IM608 so he could see the key was fully learned this time.
He paid me 269. The dealer charges 459 for the same work. He'd already paid the first locksmith too, which I couldn't help with. But I could make sure the job was actually done right.
